Nichol McKay employs a professional Health and Safety adviser to assist it in achieving its duty of care to its personnel.

Environment

The company is permitted by SEPA under the Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations and must demonstrate good stewardship of its environmental management to maintain its permit. In support of this the company has invested in a modern powder plant which recycles excess powder for reuse thereby reducing any emissions to atmosphere.

The company recognises the cost opportunities in reducing waste. This is particularly developed in its products where the company uses CAD systems to maximise yield so minimising waste and reducing costs.

To assist the Nichol McKay in achieving good standards of environmental management it employs a qualified Environmental adviser.
